In 2002 the SARS epidemic was prevalent in the Far East, several hotels and hospitals in Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Singapore and China installed oxygen clusters in their hospitals and hotels. Tests done after installation showed that with oxygen clusters 99.99% of surface viruses were killed within 5 minutes.

 

During the Corona Viruses these locations kept their contamination rate low compared to Europe and the USA. Cruise ships can reduce dramatically the spread of viruses and offensive odours by installing Oxygen Cluster generators in the air handling unit ducts.
